Time Cottage
This is Time Cottage. It's in Coltishall, which is a village on the River Bure in the Norfolk Broads. The cottage is terraced, right in the middle of the village. It's small, just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's been done up nicely inside. Comfortable, clean, and warm. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. The back door is a stable door that opens into a fully enclosed courtyard garden. That's all yours. There's also a lockable outhouse around the back that's good for bikes or canoes if you bring them.
You can walk to the river in about ten minutes. The village has pretty much everything you need: a couple of shops, pubs that do food, takeaways, a tea room. All within a few minutes' walk.
Wroxham is three miles away. That's where you can hire day boats to get out on the Broads properly. You can also catch the Bure Valley Railway from Coltishall, either to Wroxham or to Aylsham. From Aylsham, you're close to Blickling Hall.
If you fancy the coast, it's about half an hour's drive to the beaches at Mundesley or Sea Palling. Norwich is in the other direction, also about half an hour. Theatre, castle, shops, the usual city things.
Other local places if you're planning days out: Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park. The area is flat so it's very popular with cyclists. There's fishing on the river too.
In terms of what's here: there's a TV, wifi, a dishwasher, and all bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
