It's a terraced cottage called Time Cottage, in Coltishall. It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom, Five Star rated, which means it's high-spec and comfortable.
The layout is basically one room downstairs, with the kitchen and sitting area together. There's a stable door that opens into your own little courtyard garden, which is enclosed. You also get a lockable outhouse, which is handy if you bring bikes or a canoe.
The stairs are steep. They're the original cottage stairs.
You can walk to everything in Coltishall. There are four pubs serving food, a couple of shops, takeaways, a tea room. The River Bure and the green are about a ten minute walk away.
For the Broads, Wroxham is three miles down the road. That's where you can hire day boats. The Bure Valley Railway steam train runs from Coltishall to Wroxham or Aylsham.
Norwich is about half an hour by car. It's got the castle, the theatre, shops, the works.
The north Norfolk coast is also within half an hour. Good sandy beaches like Mundesley, Happisburgh, and Sea Palling.
There are some big National Trust houses nearby, like Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall.
Facilities are good: woodburning stove, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage. There's local fishing and a golf course nearby. No pets.
