The Anchorage is a house on the river in Wroxham. It's detached and sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main thing about it is the garden. It's a big, enclosed lawn that goes right down to the water. You can fish from the bank if that's your thing. There's a private mooring spot if you bring a day boat.
There's a summer house in the garden and a covered cart shed with a table tennis table. The conservatory looks out over the river. One of the upstairs bedrooms has its own little veranda overlooking it all.
Inside, it's a straightforward family house. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. There's a wood burner, a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and plenty of parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
You're not far from the centre of Wroxham, maybe half a mile. That's where the shops, pubs, and places to eat are. It's the main spot for the Broads. The property backs onto a private waterway that leads straight into Wroxham Broad.
Within about half an hour you can get to Norwich. The coast at places like Cromer is about a 40-minute drive. The Bure Valley Railway is in Wroxham if you like miniature trains. Wroxham Barns is a few minutes' drive away; it has a petting farm, some craft shops, and a café.
