Mistlethrush is a detached bungalow in Horning. It’s right on the water, on a quiet side channel that leads to the River Bure. It’s modern inside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The main room is open plan with French doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed with artificial grass, so it’s practical for kids and dogs. You can fish from the garden if that's your thing.
Horning village is a short walk. There are three pubs, shops, and a good ice cream place. The local leisure centre has an indoor pool and gym you can pay to use.
For the Broads, you can hire a motor launch privately from nearby to get out on the water properly. Wroxham is about ten minutes by car. It has a big supermarket, shops, and you can get boat trips from there. Bewilderwood, the treehouse adventure park, is very close by, about a mile away.
Further out, you've got the coast. Good sandy beaches are about twelve miles. Great Yarmouth is seventeen miles for a traditional seaside day. Norwich is half an hour for shopping or the castle museum. The National Trust properties here are Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, both worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.
Facilities: it's all on one level so the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's parking, WiFi, TV, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
