Sorrel
Sorrel is in Potter Heigham, in Norfolk. It's one of a group of converted barns around a courtyard. Ours has a thatched roof. It looks out over fields, which is nice.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and each has its own en-suite shower room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's on one level, so there are no stairs to worry about.
You have your own patio area with furniture. There's parking right outside the door. Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and wi-fi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
The local village, Ludham, is about a mile away. It's got a couple of pubs and shops. There's fishing on local waters about five minutes' walk from the cottage.
Potter Heigham is famous for its low bridge on the river. You can hire boats there, or from other places nearby if you fancy being on the water. The How Hill nature reserve is good for a walk. For the beach, Sea Palling is about ten minutes in the car.
If you're looking for a day out, Norwich is under an hour's drive. It's a proper city with a castle and cathedral. For something different, Bewilderwood is a tree-top adventure park for kids, about twenty minutes away.
