You’re about eight miles from Great Yarmouth if you want the beach and the amusements. It’s a proper seaside town. The Broads are closer, maybe 15 minutes by car to places like Potter Heigham or Horning for boat hire and riverside pubs.
Good for walking and cycling. The Weavers Way footpath and National Cycle Route 30 are nearby. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is four miles away, if that’s your sort of thing.
If you want to explore further, Norwich is about 18 miles. It’s got the castle, shopping, that kind of thing.
