Holly Lodge
Holly Lodge is in Hemsby, Norfolk. It's a one-bedroom bungalow in our garden, but it's completely detached and private. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been finished to a high standard. Everything's new and clean.
The garden wraps around the Lodge. It's enclosed, has a lawn, a patio with furniture, and a summer house. It gets the sun in the afternoon. You're on our land, but it feels separate.
Hemsby beach is about a fifteen-minute walk away. It's a sandy beach, good for long walks. The village centre is a few minutes in the other direction. There's a small supermarket, a Chinese takeaway, and a pub that does food. Everything you need is within walking distance.
Great Yarmouth is about eight miles down the coast if you want the classic seaside stuff, amusements and that. For the Broads, Potter Heigham is about six miles away for boat hire. Norwich is about forty minutes by car for a city day.
The National Trust looks after Horsey Windmill nearby, and the seals at Horsey Beach are a big draw in the winter. Useful links for planning: National Trust Norfolk and Broads Authority.
In the Lodge, you've got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. It's all open plan inside. No pets, I'm afraid.
