Gables Barn

Gables Barn is Martham, out in the Norfolk Broads. It's a converted barn, attached to another building on one side. It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.

It keeps a lot of the barn features. High vaulted ceilings, beams, a big fireplace. There's a wood burner which makes it cosy in the cooler months.

The garden is yours and it's enclosed. Parking is on site.

Inside there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's all one level so there are no stairs to worry about.

The shop is a hundred yards away. The pub is about two hundred yards and does food.

The coast is three miles away. That's places like Winterton-on-Sea or Horsey. It's unspoilt coastline and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Great dunes and beaches.

You've got the Broads right here for walking, bird watching, or messing about on boats if you hire one. Up past Horning, there's BeWILDerwood for the kids. It's an adventure park in the trees with bridges and boat trips.

Norwich is about a forty minute drive. Cathedrals, museums, shops, restaurants. All that.

You're well placed for some of the big Norfolk sights. Sandringham is under half an hour. The coast at Blakeney or Cley next the Sea for seals and bird reserves is about forty minutes.
