The Hayloft is a converted barn on our farm in Hickling. It's part of a pair of cottages, but you've got your own space. The garden is enclosed and private.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The conversion is modern inside, but the building itself is old. The walls are thick.
There's a pub in the village you can walk to, about ten minutes. It does food. The local shop is there too. For the Broads, Hickling Broad nature reserve is right on the doorstep. You can hire boats at Potter Heigham, which is a short drive.
The coast is about three miles. Sea Palling and Waxham have good sandy beaches. You often see seals at Horsey Gap, which is a bit further along.
It's a good spot for cycling on the quiet lanes. For a day out, Wroxham is known as the capital of the Broads. They've got boat trips and the Bure Valley Railway goes from there to Aylsham. Norwich is about forty minutes by car if you want cinemas or shopping.
Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Parking right outside. There's an electric vehicle charger. We can take up to two dogs. There's a stairgate if you need it.
