The Hayloft is one of a pair of converted barns in Hickling, Norfolk. They're over two hundred years old, but everything inside is modern. It's on a farm. There's a small, members-only caravan club site in the next field, but you wouldn't really notice it from the barns.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The living space is open plan. You get your own enclosed garden with a table and chairs, and parking right outside.
There's a shop and two pubs in the village, both do food. You can walk to them. Hickling Broad is very close. It's a nature reserve, good for birdwatching, walking, and hiring a boat. Potter Heigham is a few miles away for more boat hire.
The coast is about three miles. Sea Palling and Waxham have good sandy beaches. You often see seals there. For a bigger beach day, Cromer and Sheringham are along the coast. Horsey Gap is where you can see the seals on the beach itself.
If you want a day out, Wroxham is the main town on the Broads. They call it the capital. You can get river trips there. The Bure Valley steam railway runs from there to Aylsham. Norwich is a proper city with a cathedral, castle, and shops. It's about a forty minute drive.
There are a few National Trust places within half an hour. Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are the big ones. Horsey Windpump is on the Broads.
For facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ, and bike storage are all there. Bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate if you need it. It's a luxury property, so things like the kitchen kit are good. You can bring up to two dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger.
