Goldfinch is a converted stable on Happisburgh Common, about a mile from the beach. It's all on one level, so no stairs. It's detached and you get your own enclosed courtyard garden.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We allow up to two dogs. The bathroom in the main bedroom is a wet room.
The kitchen and living area is open plan. It's got underfloor heating, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. There's parking right outside.
You're about a twenty minute walk from the sandy beach and the famous red and white lighthouse. The village has a pub that does food and a shop. It's a very quiet area.
For days out, Cromer and Sheringham are a short drive up the coast for a traditional seaside day. The Norfolk Broads start at Wroxham, which is about a half hour drive. You can hire boats there. Norwich is about forty minutes away for cathedral, shopping, and restaurants.
Further along the coast, places like Blakeney and Morston do seal watching trips. There are several National Trust properties within easy reach, like Felbrigg Hall.
