Pembroke House is in Happisburgh. It's the big, detached one on the main road near the bottom of the village. It's about half a mile to walk down to the beach.
It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main thing is the space. The rooms are big. Some have the original wooden floors.
The garage has been made into a games room. There's a full-size snooker table and a table tennis table in there.
There's a decent sized, enclosed garden. Patio with furniture and a barbecue. The living room is large and has a woodburner. It leads straight out to the garden.
In the village, there's a shop and a pub that does food. The lighthouse is worth a look when it's open. You can climb it. The views from the top are very good.
For a bigger day out, Cromer and Sheringham are about half an hour's drive up the coast. They've got proper seaside stuff: piers, sandy beaches, crab fishing, that sort of thing. The North Norfolk Railway steam trains run from there.
The Norfolk Broads are about seven miles away, so good for boats or a walk around the water. Hickling Broad nature reserve is close by if you like birdwatching. Norwich is twenty miles for shopping or the cathedral.
In terms of what's there: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Parking for several cars on the drive. We can provide a cot, highchair and stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs.
