Millers Rest

This is Millers Rest, in Sutton. It's a modern cottage built next to Sutton Windmill. The windmill is one of the tallest ones left standing, so it's right there out the kitchen window. You get your own garden, which is fenced.

It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well put together. Everything is on one level, which is good if stairs are a problem.

You're about three miles from the coast at Sea Palling. That's a decent sandy beach with dunes. There are a couple of pubs within a mile, and a shop about two and a half miles away in Stalham.

The Broads are on your doorstep. Sutton Staithe is less than a mile. You can hire boats there or just watch them. There's good walking and cycling on the Weavers Way path.

If you head up the coast to Horsey beach in winter, you can see the grey seals when they have their pups. It's worth a trip. Norwich is about forty minutes by car if you need a city or want to see the cathedral.

For things to do, BeWILDerwood is a big tree-top adventure park for kids, about twenty minutes away. Wroxham, which they call the capital of the Broads, is about a twenty-five minute drive. It's got shops and boat trips.

The place has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs.
