Millers Rest

This is Millers Rest, in the village of Sutton. It's a modern place, sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The garden's enclosed, which is handy if you've brought dogs. You can bring two.

It's next to Sutton Windmill. You can see it from the garden. It's one of the tallest ones still standing. It's a nice thing to have there.

The place is open-plan downstairs. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

You're about three miles from the sea. Sea Palling beach is sandy and about a 15-minute drive. They've got dunes there, and a café.

The Norfolk Broads are basically on the doorstep. Sutton Staithe is less than a mile away. You can hire day boats from there to potter about on the river. There are three pubs within a mile of the cottage.

For shops, you've got Stalham village about two and a half miles away. It's got a supermarket, a bakery, a chemist. Wroxham is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes in the car. They call it the capital of the Broads.

If you're here in winter, you can go to Horsey beach to see the seals. They come ashore to have their pups. It's a good thing to see.

Norwich is about a 40-minute drive. It's a proper city with a cathedral, a castle, and shops.
