The Studio
The Studio is a thatched cottage in Hickling. It used to be an artist's studio. It sits in its own garden and looks out over a private stretch of water that leads onto Hickling Broad.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it’s comfortable and clean.
The main room has French doors to the garden and a wood burner. There’s a conservatory with a table, which is a nice spot.
The garden is lawned and well-kept. You can park right there.
There’s a washing machine, a dishwasher, and bedding is provided. No pets.
There’s a shop and pub in Hickling village, a few minutes’ walk away.
The beach at Waxham is about four miles. It’s a good sandy beach.
Hickling Broad is right there, off the garden. It’s good for wildlife. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust looks after it.
You’re about ten miles from Wroxham, where you can hire boats. Wroxham Barns is there too, with shops and a farm.
