Mill House

This is Mill House. It's near Fritton in Norfolk, right on the edge of the Broads. It's a new build, detached. The garden is enclosed and there's a hot tub.

It sleeps ten, in five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating which means it's well finished and everything is in good order.

The main room is open plan with bifold doors onto the garden. There's also a separate dining room. Upstairs, the ensuite has a shower, no bath. The other bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

Downstairs there's a games room with a pool table and an air hockey table. It's got a sofa, a TV and a wood burner too. Outside, there's a shared meadow.

A bridle path from the house goes to the village of Ludham, about a twenty minute walk. The village has a shop, a post office, a pub, and a tea room. The river is at Womack Staithe, which is good if you're into fishing.

You're about eight miles from the coast. The sandy beaches at Winterton-on-Sea or Sea Palling are about a half hour drive. Great Yarmouth is a bit further for the traditional seaside stuff. Norwich is about a forty minute drive for proper shopping and the cathedral.

For boat hire, Potter Heigham is close, or Wroxham a bit further. If you've got kids, BeWILDerwood or the Dinosaur Park are within easy reach. For a nature walk, the How Hill Nature Reserve is good.

We allow up to two dogs. There's parking for three cars on the drive. All bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
