Bridge End is in Waxham. It's one of two cottages here. The place you rent is the whole building, no one else in it. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
The garden is big and lawned, it's just for you. At the bottom of it, about a hundred yards away, there's a quiet waterway. The cottage is set in twelve acres of grounds, partly wooded. There are paths through the woods you can wander. There's a play area for kids in the trees, away from the water.
Waxham beach is less than a mile away. It's a good beach, sandy and broad. You can walk there. For shops and a pub, you need to go about two miles to Sea Palling. They have the basics.
You can fish for free in the waterway here, coarse fishing. People like it for birdwatching too, all through the year.
Great Yarmouth is thirteen miles if you want the seafront lights and amusements. Norwich is twenty-two miles for a proper city day out. The Norfolk Coast is all along here for walking. The Norfolk Broads start not far away either.
Facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a BBQ, parking. We provide bedding. There's a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. A washing machine too. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
