Oregano
Oregano is a bungalow in Potter Heigham. That's in the Norfolk Broads. It's one of a few cottages converted from barns. The one next door is called Thyme.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's all on the ground floor, no stairs.
You get your own enclosed patio and garden. It looks out over fields. There's parking right there.
Inside it's open plan. There's a washing machine. WiFi works. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and a highchair in if you need them.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a kids' play area on site.
The local village, Ludham, is about a mile away. It's got a shop and two pubs. There's fishing on a lake about five minutes' walk from the cottage.
For getting out on the water, you can hire boats in Potter Heigham itself, which is ten minutes away by car. Wroxham is where you'd go for a boat trip or the little steam train. The Broads Authority website has maps and information.
The coast is close. Sea Palling beach is about a fifteen minute drive. Great Yarmouth is half an hour for the amusements. Norwich is also about half an hour if you want a city day, for the castle or cathedral.
If you like walking and nature, How Hill nature reserve is nearby. For a big day out with kids, BeWILDerwood is popular. The National Trust has places like Blickling Hall within driving distance.
