The Stables
The Stables is on our working farm near Thrigby. It's a detached stable conversion, so it's on its own. You get the garden to yourselves, which looks out over the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's modern and well-equipped. It's light inside with vaulted ceilings and beams from the old building.
Downstairs there's a living room with a wood burner, a kitchen with dining area, a utility room with the washing machine, one bedroom, and the bathroom. Upstairs is the second bedroom, which is a galleried twin room with good views.
You're welcome to use the farm walks. The big thing is that Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is literally a 200-yard walk from your door. They've got tigers, leopards, meerkats, and all sorts.
For the coast, the sandy beaches at Winterton-on-Sea and Sea Palling are about a 15-minute drive. The Broads are close too, at Filby and Ormesby Broad, which is about 10 minutes away by car.
Great Yarmouth is roughly 20 minutes drive if you want the traditional seaside stuff, like the amusement park and the pier.
Norwich city centre is about half an hour inland. It's got the cathedral, the castle, and all the shops and restaurants you'd expect from a city.
For facilities, it's got everything on the list: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
