The Stables
The Stables is on our working farm in Thrigby. It's a detached building we converted from the old stable block. You get your own garden, which looks out over the fields. We've kept some of the old features inside, like the beams and the vaulted ceiling upstairs.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms. One is downstairs, the other is a galleried twin room upstairs. There's one bathroom, which is also on the ground floor. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, and there's a separate utility room with the washing machine. The living room has a wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
You're welcome to walk around the designated paths on the farm. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens are literally a couple of hundred yards down the lane. They've got tigers, leopards, and all sorts.
The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. Winterton and Sea Palling have good sandy beaches. For the Broads, Filby and Ormesby are close by. Great Yarmouth is about twenty minutes away if you want the seafront attractions.
Norwich is inland, maybe half an hour's drive. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. A shop is a mile away, and the nearest pub is two miles.
