Broadland Hideaway

Broadland Hideaway is a bungalow in Martham, Norfolk. It’s all on one level and detached, so it’s just you. Sleeps eight, two bathrooms. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s well equipped and finished to a good standard.

The main thing is the sun room at the back. It has big bi-fold doors that open right up onto the garden. The garden is fully enclosed and private. There’s a decked area and a hot tub out there.

Martham itself is a quiet village. There’s a village green and a duck pond. You can walk to the local shop, it’s about 200 yards. The pub is a bit further, maybe half a mile.

The Norfolk Broads are very close, about a three minute drive. The main spots are Potter Heigham, Horning, and Wroxham. You can hire boats there or just go for a river trip. There are riverside pubs and cafes. If you have children, BeWILDerwood at Horning is a popular adventure park.

For the coast, Winterton-on-Sea is about three and a half miles away. It’s a good sandy beach, popular for walks. Great Yarmouth is about ten miles if you want the classic seaside experience with amusements and a pier.

If you’re into wildlife, Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is roughly five miles away. Norwich city centre, for shopping and the castle, is about eighteen miles.

In terms of what’s there: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. Sorry, no pets.
