Pixies Wood Cottage is on Johnson Street out towards Barton Turf. It's detached. You can't really see any neighbours. The back garden looks straight out over meadows and marshland down to the river. It's very quiet. You get a lot of birds.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The garden wraps around the cottage. It's fully enclosed, which is good if you have dogs.
The cottage has a wood burning stove. There's a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the gravel drive.
You can bring up to three dogs. The garden is secure, but the marshland starts right at the bottom of it, so you need to keep an eye on them if they're the sort to run off.
The village of Ludham is about a four minute drive. It's got a shop, a post office, a butcher, and a pub. For boats, you're close to Potter Heigham, Horning, and Wroxham. They all do day boat hire and things like paddleboards.
The coast is about ten miles. Sea Palling and Winterton have sandy beaches and dunes. Great Yarmouth is further down if you want the funfair and arcades.
For a day out, Norwich is about forty minutes by car. It's good for shopping and the castle. There are a few National Trust places within half an hour or so, like Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall.
If you're planning walks or want more information on the area, the Broads Authority site is useful.
