Riverside
This is Riverside, one of three cottages here. It's in Stalham Staithe, right on the River Ant. You get a view over the Staithe from the house. It's detached, so you've got your own space, and there's a garden that's fully enclosed.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not palatial. Everything you need is there.
You're in a boatyard, which is quiet most of the time. You can hire motor launches from here if you want to get out on the water. You can fish right from the garden. The local pub is about 500 yards away, and there's a restaurant even closer, maybe 50 yards.
For getting out, Wroxham is eight miles up the road. That's where you'll find most of the boat hire places and shops. The coast at Sea Palling is about three and a half miles away. The beaches at Waxham and Horsey are a bit quieter and good for sand.
If you've got children, BeWILDerwood near Horning is the big tree-top adventure place. It's about a twenty minute drive. Norwich is good for a day out, for the cathedral, castle, and shopping. It's roughly half an hour by car.
What's here: woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The electricity is all covered in the price.
