Riverside is a house in Stalham Staithe. It's detached and part of a small boatyard, so you'll see boats coming and going. There are two other houses here, Teasel and Solace. You can book them together if you need more rooms.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's got everything you'd need and it's comfortable. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids.
The house is right by the River Ant. You can fish from the bank if you want. The view from the back is all water and boats. There's a pub about 500 yards away, and a restaurant practically next door. The local shop is the same distance.
If you fancy messing about on the water, you can hire a motor launch from the boatyard here on site. You can walk to the Norfolk Broads Museum in a few minutes. It's small but interesting if you like local history.
For a day out, Wroxham is about eight miles. That's where most of the boating hire is. The coast is close. Sea Palling beach is three and a half miles away. It's sandy and has sea defences. For a quieter beach, try Waxham or Horsey. They're good for walking and you might see seals at Horsey in the winter.
Norwich is about forty minutes by car. It's a proper city with a cathedral, a castle, and shops. Great Yarmouth is further, maybe forty-five minutes. It's a traditional seaside town with a pier and amusements.
The house has a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
