Squirrels Drey is in Witton, which is basically a small village in the Norfolk countryside. It's a converted brick and flint barn, one of a few here. The owners live on site but it's private. You get your own fenced courtyard garden.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's a high standard. There's oak flooring and a wood burner. It's not big, but it's comfortable.
The coast is about two miles away at Walcott. You can walk it if you want, but it's a country lane. There's a shop and a pub in the village too, both a couple of miles away.
For beaches and towns, Cromer and Sheringham are about a twenty minute drive north. Mundesley is a bit closer. Blakeney is good for boat trips to see the seals. If you want the Broads, Wroxham is roughly half an hour.
Norwich is about a thirty minute drive south. Good for a day out; cathedral, castle, shops, that sort of thing.
There are quiet lanes right from the door for walking or cycling. You can also use the shared bit of meadow here if the kids want to run about. We've got a barn owl around the place.
Facilities wise: there's the wood burner, wifi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Parking is right outside.
