The Beehive

The Beehive is a bungalow just outside Mundesley in Norfolk. It's detached, so you've got your own space. It's all on one level, which makes it easy to get around. The inside is open-plan, like a studio. It's for two people.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and everything works properly. There's one bedroom and a shower room. The bed and towels are included. You've got a washing machine, and there's parking right outside. There’s also an electric car charger if you need it.

Out the back is an enclosed garden. It's private. There's a hot tub out there, which is yours to use. You can sit out there with a drink. There's a barbecue too.

The place is dog-friendly. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

Mundesley village is about half a mile down the lane. There's a pub and a couple of places to eat there. The beach is maybe three-quarters of a mile. It's a nice sandy beach and dogs are allowed on it all year, though there's a section they can't go in during the summer.

If you like walking, you can get straight onto footpaths from the door. Bacton Woods is close by for a different kind of walk. The coast path is good if you want a longer one.

For a day out, Cromer is about seven or eight miles up the coast. It's a proper seaside town with a pier, shops, and crab sandwiches. North Walsham is a few miles inland for supermarkets and things.

If you fancy some history, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are both within half an hour's drive. Norwich is about twenty miles. It's a city with a cathedral, a castle, and plenty of shops.
