Cedar Lodge is in Overstrand. It's a big detached house, sleeps eight, and it's about 150 yards from the beach path. You can see the sea from the upstairs windows.
It's got five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and one bathroom are on the ground floor, which is useful. The stairs are fine, but there's a stairgate at the top if you need it.
The main bit downstairs is open plan. Kitchen and dining area, then double doors into the living room with the wood burner. There are big doors out to the garden from the dining space. The garden's mature, private, and has a good bit of patio. There's a rope swing out there the kids seem to like.
It's a 5 Star place, so it's well looked after. Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking for a couple of cars right there.
You can take two dogs. The beach is dog-friendly outside of the summer season.
The village has a pub that does food about 350 yards away. Cromer is the next town along the coast, about three miles. It's got a pier, shops, and more places to eat.
If you want to explore, you're well placed. The North Norfolk Coast is all around you for walking. The Broads are about a 30-minute drive inland. Norwich is a bit under an hour away if you fancy a city day. For local history, Blickling Estate is about 20 minutes by car.
That's about it. It's a good solid house, close to the beach.
