Cedar Lodge

Cedar Lodge is on the main street in Overstrand, about a two-minute walk to the cliff path down to the beach. It's a detached house, not old, quite modern really. The garden is bigger than most round here and it's fenced all the way round, which is good for kids and dogs. There's a rope swing on the big tree.

It sleeps eight. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and one bathroom are downstairs, which is useful. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. There's underfloor heating, a wood burner, and everything works.

The beach is shingle at the top but it's sandy when the tide's out. You can walk for miles along the coast path. The local pub is a few hundred yards up the road, they do food. There's a small shop in the village.

Cromer is two miles along the coast. They've got a pier, more shops, and the RNLI lifeboat station. For a longer beach drive, Holkham is about half an hour. Sheringham is ten minutes the other way, good for the North Norfolk Railway steam train.

If you want to head inland, the Broads are about a 40-minute drive. Norwich is roughly 25 miles, so under an hour depending on traffic. It's a good city for a day out, cathedral, castle, that sort of thing.

Things here: parking for two cars on the drive, bedding and towels are included, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, a stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed.
