Deer Park Cottage is in Suffield, Norfolk. It's a bungalow, attached to our farmhouse. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but nothing too fancy.
The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over the deer park. You'll see red and fallow deer from the window most days. The garden faces south, so it gets the sun.
It's all on the ground floor, so the stairs aren't an issue. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. Bedding and towels are included. We've got WiFi and parking right outside.
You're welcome to bring one dog. The garden is enclosed.
You can walk straight into the deer park from here. There's a 14-acre lake if you're into fishing or birdwatching. The Gunton Arms, which is the local pub and restaurant, is about a fifteen minute walk down the track. They do food.
The coast at Cromer is about six miles away. That's where you get the pier, the beach, and the crab shops. The village shop is two miles away in Roughton.
For days out, you're close to some good National Trust places. Blickling Hall is nearby and Felbrigg Hall isn't far either. The Broads are about a half hour drive if you want to go out on the water.
