This is the Hay Loft, in Gresham, Norfolk. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so it's all on one level. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower.
It's on our land, so we're nearby if you need anything. There's about four and a half acres here. The other two holiday barns are separate. You get your own parking space right outside, and there's an electric vehicle charger.
Inside, it's straightforward and comfortable. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a woodburning stove, which is nice in the cooler months. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
The location is quiet, down a long drive off a country lane. It's proper farming countryside. The lanes around here are good for walking and cycling. National Cycle Route 30 goes past the gate.
Sheringham is about four miles away. That's the nearest proper town, with a sandy beach, shops, and the station for the North Norfolk Railway steam trains. Cromer is four miles the other way, famous for its pier and crab.
Holt is five miles inland. It's a Georgian town with a lot of art and antique shops. If you like birdwatching, the coast at Cley Marshes and Blakeney is about a twenty-minute drive. You can get boat trips to see the seals from Morston or Blakeney.
There are a couple of National Trust places nearby. Felbrigg Hall is a nice house and gardens, and Sheringham Park has good walking trails and views. The nearest shop and pub are in Sustead, about two miles away.
No pets, I'm afraid.
