Bethel Cottage is a semi-detached Victorian house in Sheringham town centre. It's not secluded, as you're on a normal town street, but the upside is you're close to everything.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not a luxury show home. It's a tall, narrow house, so the stairs are fairly steep, which is worth knowing.
The beach and the promenade are about a ten minute walk down the hill. The town shops, cafes, and the museum are even closer. There's a local pub a few minutes away.
Sheringham Park is lovely for a walk. The North Norfolk Railway, which is a steam train line, runs from here to Holt. You can see the station from the top of the street. The golf course is on the cliffs.
For days out, the coast path is right there. Blakeney is about nine miles away for boat trips to see the seals. Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are National Trust properties nearby. Wroxham for the Broads is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and an enclosed garden at the back. Bedding is included, and we can provide a highchair. No pets allowed, sorry.
