Magnolia Lodge

Magnolia Lodge is in Sheringham. It's a semi-detached house, so you've got neighbours on one side. It sleeps four with two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.

It's got a five star rating. That just means everything is in good order and it's well equipped.

You can bring one well-behaved dog. The garden is enclosed, which is handy for that. There's private parking for one car on the drive.

The location is the main thing. It's about a ten minute walk to the town centre and the beach. There's a shop and a couple of pubs even closer, maybe five minutes.

Sheringham beach is shingle and sand. You can swim, but the water's never what you'd call warm. The promenade is good for a stroll. West Runton beach is a bit further along and is sandier.

If you like walking, the Norfolk Coast Path runs right past. The Sheringham Park estate is nearby and good for a proper walk with great views. For birdwatching, the RSPB reserves at Cley and Titchwell are a short drive up the coast.

The steam railway, the North Norfolk Railway, runs from Sheringham to Holt. It's a nice thing to do, especially with kids.

Within about half an hour you can get to Blakeney, which is where the seal trips go from. Cromer is along the coast for another pier and town. The Felbrigg Hall estate is just south of Cromer. Wroxham, for the Broads, is closer to 50 minutes drive.

Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
