Magnolia Lodge

Magnolia Lodge is in Sheringham, just off the coast road. It's a semi-detached place, a few minutes' walk from the town centre and about ten minutes from the beach.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's well-equipped and comfortable. You can bring a dog, or even two.

The garden is fenced in. There's a parking space on the drive, which is handy in town. The stairs are cottage stairs, so a bit steeper than you get in a modern house. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included.

Sheringham itself has got a good high street with shops and a couple of supermarkets. The beach is shingle. If you want sand for sandcastles, West Runton beach is just a couple of miles along the coast. The North Norfolk Steam Railway runs from Sheringham out to Holt.

For walking, you've got the coast path and the heathland. Sheringham Park, which is just outside town, has excellent views over the coast. Felbrigg Hall is nearby too. Both are National Trust.

If you're into birds, there are several RSPB reserves along the coast, like Cley. Blakeney Point, where you can see the seals, is about a 25-minute drive. Wells-next-the-Sea with the beach huts and the big beach is about half an hour away.
