Gresham Hall

Gresham Hall is near East Beckham, about three miles from the coast. It's a big house on a private estate. It sleeps ten, with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, so there's no queue in the morning. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a high standard. We did the work in 2019.

The house was built in 1908 for Colonel Batt, using materials from the estate. It's a proper country house. There's a bedroom and shower on the ground floor if stairs are a problem.

Outside, there's a garden and patio with a BBQ. Parking is on site. Inside, you've got a woodburning stove, TV, WiFi, dishwasher, and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs.

It's quiet out here. The driveway is long and private. You're in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Sustead.

Sheringham's a few minutes' drive east. It's a nice town with a sandy beach. Holt is just inland and is good for shopping and eating. Cromer, with its pier, is to the west.

If you want to explore further, the whole north Norfolk coast is close. You can get to places like Blakeney or Holkham easily. The Norfolk Coast National Landscape site has good walking maps. For days out, the National Trust Norfolk page covers nearby places like Blickling Estate.

There's a golf course nearby. The Steam Railway runs between Sheringham and Holt. Further afield, you've got the Broads or the Thursford Collection, both within about 40 minutes.
