Chalk Reef House is in Sheringham, on the north Norfolk coast. It's a big Victorian terrace house a few minutes walk from the sea. It sleeps thirteen people, which is a lot, but the rooms are spread over three floors so it doesn't feel too packed.
It's got six bedrooms and four bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite. Two rooms on the top floor have a view of the sea. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The owner has kept furniture light to make the most of the space, so there are hanging rails instead of wardrobes in some rooms.
You've got two places to eat. There's a formal dining room and a conservatory. The kitchen is a good size for cooking for a crowd. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and TV. WiFi is included. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
The house is wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but it's worth noting the bedrooms are spread over the floors, so not all of it is on one level.
You're about 400 yards from the beach. The town centre, with shops, pubs, and restaurants, is the same distance. The North Norfolk Railway steam trains run from here. The Norfolk Coast Path is accessible from the door.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got Cromer and its pier. Norwich is about 45 minutes for a city day. The National Trust's Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Estate are nearby. Sheringham Park is good for a walk. The coast road east and west takes you past beaches and salt marshes.
No pets, sorry.
