Hoxne House

Hoxne House is in Weybourne. It's a detached house, so you're not sharing walls with anyone. It sleeps fourteen across five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms upstairs and a separate toilet downstairs.

The rating is 3 Star. It's a big, functional house for a group. It's clean and has what you need, but it's not a luxury finish. The stairs are fine.

It's very close to the beach. You can walk there in a couple of minutes. It's a shingle beach, so you might want shoes. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. There's parking on the drive.

In the house, there's a big dining table that fits everyone, and a wood burner in the living room. We supply the bedding and towels. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.

Weybourne itself is small. There's a pub and a café. The pub does food. For a bigger shop, Sheringham is about three miles east. It's a proper town with supermarkets, shops, and places to eat. Cromer is a bit further, maybe six miles. It has a pier and the usual seaside things.

If you go west, Blakeney is good for crabbing and seal boat trips. The North Norfolk Railway runs steam trains between Sheringham and Holt. For a big day out, Norwich is about half an hour's drive. It has the castle, the cathedral, and all the shops.
