Hoxne House is in Weybourne. It's a detached house, so no neighbours sharing walls. It sleeps fourteen, which is why it's popular with big family groups.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean, functional and a bit dated in places. It's not a show home. It's got five bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, plus a toilet downstairs. With that many people, you'll probably need to coordinate shower times.
The house is about a five minute walk from the beach. It's shingle, not sand. You can hear the sea on a quiet night.
Weybourne itself is small. There's a decent pub and a cafe. The local shop is in nearby Sheringham.
The living room has a wood burning stove. There's a big dining table. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids and dogs. We allow up to two well-behaved pets.
For parking, you can get three, maybe four cars on the drive if you're careful.
In terms of things to do, Sheringham is the nearest proper town, about three miles east. It's got shops, a few places to eat, and the steam railway. Cromer is about eight miles east, famous for its pier and crab.
Going west, Blakeney for crabbing and seal trips is about a twenty minute drive. Holkham beach is about forty minutes.
If you don't mind a drive, Norwich is just under an hour away. It's got the castle and cathedral.
The house has what you'd expect: wifi, TV, washing machine, cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included.
