The north Norfolk coast is about a ten minute drive. Blakeney is good for crabbing. Sheringham has a wide beach and the North Norfolk Railway steam trains. Cromer has a pier and a promenade.
Further afield, you can get to the Norfolk Broads at Wroxham, or into Norwich city centre, in about forty minutes by car.
