Coastguard's Cottage

This is Coastguard's Cottage in Weybourne, on the Norfolk coast. It's a detached house right by the cliff edge. You can see the sea from most of the windows.

It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom and a shower room are on the ground floor. The other three bedrooms are upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is full of character, not new. The beds are good quality.

The main living room is called the lookout. It's up on the first floor. There's a wood burning stove in there. The kitchen is small, designed like a ship's galley. There's a separate dining room and a conservatory too.

You're literally a few steps from the beach and the coastal path. The beach is shingle. It's very good for walking. The local pub and a restaurant are about three quarters of a mile away, up in the village.

For things to do, Sheringham is a few miles along the coast. You've got the North Norfolk Railway there. Holt is about ten minutes inland for shopping. If you want a big beach, Holkham is roughly half an hour's drive. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here. The Broads are about forty minutes away if you fancy a change from the sea.

Facilities: it has parking, a garden, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a wood burner but you need to buy your own logs locally.
