Sea La Vie
Sea La Vie is a small brick and flint cottage on a side street in Sheringham. It's about a five minute walk from the seafront.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin. The bathroom is upstairs too. Downstairs there's a separate toilet. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs. We allow two.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's been done up recently, so everything works and it's clean. The stairs are the original ones, so they're fairly steep and the treads are narrow. That's pretty standard for these old places.
Everything you need is close. The High Street, with shops, cafes, and pubs, is a five minute walk. The train station is about eight minutes away. The beach is just down the hill.
For a day out, you can get the steam train from Sheringham to Holt. It's a nice run. The North Norfolk Railway website has the timetables. The Norfolk Broads are about half an hour's drive, around Wroxham.
There are two National Trust houses nearby: Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Estate. Both have good gardens. Cromer is the next town along the coast.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher and washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on the driveway. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a cot and a highchair there if you need them.
