The Seahorses is in Sheringham town centre, on the street behind the high street. It's a red brick and flint Victorian maisonette, so it's got its own front door and stairs up to the flat. You're about a hundred yards from a pub and a shop, and five minutes' walk from the beach.
It sleeps seven in three bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen is handmade pine. Some of the original Victorian features are still there, like the fireplaces. The stairs are normal for a place this age.
You get your own beach toys and a few books left out. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs. A cot, highchair, and stairgate are there if you need them.
It's a proper seaside town, Sheringham. It's hardly changed. The beach is wide and good for families. There's a steam railway, a theatre, a putting green, and decent fish and chips. Because it's in the town, you don't really need a car. You can walk to the beach, the shops, and the train station, which connects along the coast. Cromer is about five miles east if you want a pier and promenade.
For a day out, Felbrigg Hall is close, and so is Blickling Hall. Blakeney Quay is about ten miles away for boat trips to see the seals. Wroxham, for the Broads, is twenty-five miles. Norwich is twenty-seven miles for cathedral and shopping.
