Primrose Cottage
Primrose Cottage is in the village of Gresham in North Norfolk. It's a Victorian cottage, one of a row of three in flint and brick. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place.
The stairs inside are the cottage's original ones. They are steep and a bit narrow, so you need to take care on them.
You have your own enclosed garden at the back. It's a nice spot to sit out. You can park two cars off the road at the front.
The cottage has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are provided. We can take one well-behaved dog.
A public footpath starts right by the cottage door, and it's on a cycle route. The coast is about four and a half miles away. Sheringham is that way, and Cromer is about five miles. Both are proper seaside towns with beaches, shops, and crabbing off the piers. The Norfolk Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastal path is great for walks.
Blakeney Point is about a twenty-minute drive. You can get a boat trip from there or Morston to see the seals. The National Trust looks after the point. For a historic day out, Blickling Hall is roughly half an hour by car.
The nearest pub is a mile and a half away in the next village. There's a golf course within five miles.
