Sky Lark

Sky Lark is an apartment in a Victorian building on the North Parade in Cromer. It's on the first floor. You share the main entrance and stairs with the other flats. There's one parking space out the back for you.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not high-end. The rooms are big with high ceilings. The stairs inside the building are fine, but they are the original Victorian stairs so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.

The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the road to the sea, the beach, and the pier. The living room has a big bay window so you get a panoramic view. You can even see the sea from the kitchen and the front bedroom.

You're about a two-minute walk from the sandy beach. The town centre, with shops and places to eat, is about five minutes walk the other way. There's a shop and a pub 220 yards away. The pub does food.

Cromer itself has the pier with the lifeboat station and the Pavilion theatre. You can walk the cliff top paths. There's an 18-hole cliff top golf course. The train station is close if you want to go to Norwich or up to Sheringham without the car.

Within about half an hour's drive you've got the North Norfolk Steam Railway in Sheringham, the RSPB reserves at Cley and Blakeney, and you can get to the Broads for boat trips. Holt is about 15 minutes inland.

For facilities: there's a cot and highchair if you need them, bedding is included, there's a TV and WiFi. There's on-site parking. No pets, sorry.

Useful links for planning trips: National Trust Norfolk and for bus routes along the coast, the Coasthopper service.
