Church Rooms

This is Church Rooms, in Northrepps. It's a detached cottage, made from the local flint. It's on the edge of the village, so it's quiet. You've got your own parking on site.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and each has its own bathroom. So no queuing for the shower. One bathroom has a big freestanding bath. The living area is open plan. There's a woodburner, which is nice in the cooler months.

It was done up a few years ago, stylishly. There are a few nods to it being an old church hall, like a pew at the dining table. It's clean and comfortable. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The village has a shop and a good pub, The Farmers Arms, which is about a ten-minute walk. It's that sort of place.

The coast is close. Overstrand beach is about two miles away. It's a sandy beach and generally quieter than Cromer. Cromer's the next town along, with a pier and the usual seaside things. For birdwatching, you've got RSPB Cley Marshes nearby.

If you drive for half an hour, you can be in Wroxham for the Broads, or Sheringham for the steam railway. Norwich is about 45 minutes if you want a city day for shopping or the castle.

For facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. No pets, I'm afraid.
