The Granary is on our farm in Knapton, Norfolk. It's a converted grain store, which is where the name comes from. It sleeps four people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything works. We've kept some of the original beams, so watch your head in a couple of places. The stairs are fine but they're a typical cottage staircase.
You get your own enclosed garden with a patio. It's fenced, so it's safe for dogs and kids. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's parking right outside.
The farm is a working farm, so you'll see us going about. There are fields and quiet lanes right from your door for walks. The Paston Way footpath is about five minutes' walk away if you want a longer route.
The village of Trunch is a mile down the road. It has a shop with a post office and a pub that does food. It's a proper local.
The coast is close. Mundesley beach is about two miles away. It's a sandy beach and it's usually quiet. Cromer is about a fifteen minute drive. It has a pier, shops, and the usual seaside things. Sea Palling is a bit further up the coast, maybe twenty minutes by car.
North Walsham is four miles away for bigger supermarkets and a train station. Norwich is about half an hour's drive if you want a city day. The Norfolk Broads are around half an hour away, at Wroxham. You can hire boats there.
For facilities: there's a wood burner, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but please ask about the internal layout if you have specific needs.
