The Granary is one of three cottages here, all converted from old farm buildings. It's on our working farm, just outside Knapton. The views are over fields.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms, but two are small doubles, so it suits two adults and two children best. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfy and well-equipped. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
You get your own enclosed garden with a patio and a barbecue. It's properly fenced, which is good if you're bringing dogs or kids. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
The village of Trunch is about a mile away. It has a shop with a post office and a pub that does food. Mundesley beach is two miles. It's a sandy beach and it's usually quiet. It's a good, classic Norfolk beach.
Cromer is about fifteen minutes by car. It's got the pier, the lifeboat station, and more shops and places to eat. North Walsham is four miles for supermarkets and a train into Norwich.
If you like walking, the Paston Way footpath runs right past the farm. You can also drive to Pigneys Wood in five minutes or Bacton Wood in fifteen. The Norfolk Broads are around half an hour away, over at Wroxham.
Facilities wise, everything listed is there. The parking is right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. The entrance is level and wheelchair accessible, but please note the bathroom is upstairs.
