The Gallery Barn
The Gallery Barn is a detached barn in Swafield, Norfolk. It's on the edge of the village, right next to the old Dilham Canal. You get the garden and the views over the water to yourselves.
It sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and spacious. Everything's on one level except for one bedroom and bathroom upstairs in a mezzanine, so it's mostly step-free.
There's a big open plan living area with a kitchen at one end. The floors are tile and wood, so it's practical. Off that is a games room with a pool table and table football. Outside, there's a patio with a hot tub, and then an enclosed lawn.
You're about four miles from the coast at Mundesley, which has a good sandy beach. Cromer and Sheringham are a short drive along the coast. The Norfolk Broads are nearby too, Wroxham is about twenty minutes by car.
North Walsham is two miles away for supermarkets and shops. Norwich is about half an hour's drive if you want a day in the city for the castle, cathedral, or shopping.
For things to do, the National Trust at Blickling Hall is close by. The Visit Norfolk site has ideas for the whole area.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for several cars. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
