Beach Retreat
This is Beach Retreat in Mundesley. It's a detached brick and flint house. The layout is upside down, so the living area is upstairs to get the view. You're about fifty yards from the beach. There's a gate at the end of the garden that gets you straight onto it.
It sleeps eight in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps with that many people. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. You can bring one dog.
The stairs are a typical cottage spiral, so they're tight. Something to be aware of if you've got anyone with limited mobility. There's a stairgate at the top.
You've got a shop and a pub about a hundred yards away. The village itself is small and quiet. For a bigger town, Cromer is about eight miles up the coast. They've got the pier and the famous crab sandwiches. Norwich is roughly half an hour's drive. It's a proper city with a castle, cathedral, and all the shops.
If you like being on the water, you can get to the Norfolk Broads in under half an hour for boat hire. There are seal trips from Blakeney, which is a bit further. The North Norfolk Railway steam train runs between Holt and Sheringham, which is a nice trip.
For facilities, you've got the basics covered: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. The garden has a patio and a barbecue. There's also bike storage if you bring them.
