Dimmock Cottage

Dimmock Cottage is in Keswick, Norfolk. It's about a minute's walk from the beach. The beach is sandy and I think quite good.

The cottage sleeps six. It's got three bedrooms and one bathroom. Two of the beds are super kings, and you can split them into singles if you prefer. There's a bunk room. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The garden is fully enclosed at the back. It's got a patio with seating and a BBQ. We've left a box of things in there: picnic gear, beach games, books, an XBox 360, some DVDs, and board games. It's just stuff we thought people might use.

The inside is open plan. There's a big table, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and a living room with big sofas. There's WiFi and a TV. Upstairs, the stairs are fine but there's a stairgate fitted if you need it.

You can bring one dog. There's parking on site, and there's an electric vehicle charger.

For a pint or a meal, there's a pub and a couple of restaurants a few minutes' walk away. There are also shops, a Post Office, fish and chips, and cafes nearby. There's a playground about a ten minute walk away.

If you want to walk, Bacton Woods is close by. It's good for a long walk. The beach is right there for a shorter stroll.

Within about half an hour's drive, you've got a few things. Cromer and Sheringham are classic seaside towns. Wroxham is the main place for the Norfolk Broads. You can hire boats there. For a day out, BeWILDerwood near Horning is an adventure park for kids. The Dinosaur Park at Lenwade is another option. There are a couple of National Trust houses, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall, and Sheringham Park.
