Dimmock Cottage
Dimmock Cottage is in Keswick, Norfolk. It’s about a two minute walk from the beach. That’s the main thing. It’s a sandy beach, a good one.
The cottage sleeps six. There are three bedrooms. Two have super king beds that can be split into singles if you need, and one has bunk beds. There’s one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
The back garden is enclosed, which is good if you’ve got kids or a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet. There’s a patio with seating and a barbecue.
Inside, it’s open plan. The kitchen is well equipped. The living room has large sofas and a TV. We’ve left a lot of stuff there for guests: books, board games, DVDs, an Xbox 360, and things for the beach like deck chairs.
You’re a short walk from a pub, a couple of restaurants including a Chinese, shops, cafes, and fish and chip shops. There’s a playground about ten minutes away. Bacton Woods is nearby for walking.
For days out, Cromer is about eleven miles north, Sheringham is sixteen. Wroxham, the centre of the Norfolk Broads, is twelve miles south. You can hire boats there. For kids, BeWILDerwood and the Dinosaur Park are within a half hour drive.
The National Trust has some good properties nearby, like Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall. If you’re here in winter, you can see the seal pups at Horsey beach. Norwich is about twenty-one miles away if you need a city day.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
