This is Wheelwrights, in Dilham. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people, right next to The Long Barn. You get your own, separate entrance off a private drive. It's very quiet here, just fields.
It's a five-star place, which means it's been done to a high standard. Everything's new. There's a big shower with twin basins, and the floors are that easy-clean vinyl. Bedding and towels are good quality. Up a little staircase from the main living area there's a mezzanine level with a couple of armchairs, looking out over the fields. And there's a private hot tub outside.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed.
Location wise, you're about seven miles from the coast. The Norfolk Broads are closer. Dilham Staithe is at the bottom of the drive. You can't launch a proper boat there, but it's fine for a kayak or canoe. If you want to fish, you can do that from the staithe in season. For a day boat, Wayford Bridge is about three miles away.
For the coast, Mundesley is the nearest beach, about a fifteen-minute drive. Cromer and its pier is maybe twenty-five minutes. Sheringham is a bit further, maybe half an hour. If you head inland, Norwich is under forty minutes for the cathedral and the castle museum.
There's a pub that does food in the village, about half a mile walk. The nearest shop is in Stalham, a three-mile drive.
