Peacock

This is the Peacock cottage in East Ruston. It's part of a row of three attached cottages. You share the site with the other two but you have your own patio and everything.

It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The space is open plan downstairs so it feels quite light. The patio looks south over a lake. It's quiet out there.

The local pub that does food is about half a mile away. The nearest proper shop is about two and a half miles in Stalham.

You're right on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. The Broads Authority website has maps and info on boat hire if you want that. You can hire boats in Stalham or Wroxham. Wroxham is about a ten minute drive.

The coast is close. Sea Palling beach is about two and a half miles. It's sandy. Mundesley is a bit further up. Cromer and the north Norfolk coast are within half an hour or so.

For a day out, Norwich is about eighteen miles. Good for shopping and the cathedral.

Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. The bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside. No pets though.

If you're planning walks, the Weavers Way footpath runs nearby. For general trip planning, Visit Norfolk is a good place to start.
