Roses Place

Roses Place is a chalet bungalow on the edge of Bacton, right on the Norfolk coast. It's in a private park. The thing about it is the deck. It wraps around the front and side, and you look straight out over the grass to the sea. No houses or anything in the way. You can sit out there with a coffee.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s well kept and comfortable. The living space is all on one level, which is handy.

You’re on the coast path straight from the gate. The beach is sandy and about a minute's walk down the track. It’s a proper beach for a walk or fishing. The village has what you need: a couple of pubs that do food, a chippy, a shop. Bacton Woods is good for a longer walk if you get bored of the sea.

If you want to explore, Mundesley is a few minutes down the coast by car. Cromer is about twenty minutes, Sheringham a bit longer. They’ve got piers, crab fishing, the usual seaside stuff. Wroxham, for the Broads, is maybe half an hour. You can hire a boat there easily.

For a day out, the seals at Horsey are about a 40-minute drive. Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are National Trust places within half an hour or so.

Facilities: it’s all on one level, there’s parking right outside, the deck has furniture, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
