On The Beach

This place is called On The Beach. It's in Bacton on the Norfolk coast. The name tells you pretty much everything. It's an end-terrace chalet on a private park, and the beach is right there. You can hear the waves.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxury. It's all on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible to get in, which is good to know. The layout is open plan.

You've got a verandah with some furniture. There's a big communal grass area out front. Parking is on site.

Bacton village is walkable. It's got a couple of pubs that do food, a fish and chip shop, and a café. The beach is sandy and you can sea fish from it if that's your thing. Bacton Woods is nearby for walks.

For a day out, Cromer is about 13 miles up the coast. Sheringham is a bit further, about 17 miles. They're proper classic seaside towns. Wroxham, which is the main place for the Norfolk Broads, is also about 13 miles inland. You can hire boats there.

If you like gardens, Sheringham Park is National Trust and really good. So is Felbrigg Hall just outside Cromer. For seals, Horsey beach is the place to go in winter.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. It's Christmas themed if you're coming then. You can bring two dogs.
