This is Betty's Cottage, in Swafield. It's a traditional Norfolk brick house on a quiet lane. There are fields at the back.
It's got three bedrooms and sleeps six. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are the usual cottage sort.
There's an open fire in the living room. The garden is enclosed if you have a dog. You can bring two.
There's a separate boat shed down the lane with a small Canadian canoe in it. You're welcome to use it, but it's completely at your own risk. The pool you see mentioned is next door. It's a private indoor one you can book by the hour for yourselves. It's not part of the cottage.
For beaches, Mundesley is about four miles away. It's a good sandy beach. Cromer is a bit further, maybe 15 minutes by car. That's where the pier and the proper promenade are.
The Norfolk Broads start at Wroxham, which is about 12 miles. You can hire a boat there or get on the Bure Valley railway.
If you like walking, the coast path is within easy reach. Sheringham Park is good for that, and so is the RSPB reserve at Cley Marshes. National Trust Norfolk has details for a lot of the local walks and houses. For the Broads, Visit the Broads is the main site.
In terms of stuff here: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the drive. There's a highchair and bike storage.
