The Wash House
The Wash House is out in Roughton, Norfolk. It's a barn conversion, so it's single-storey. That means no stairs, which is useful for some. It's detached and you've got your own garden with a patio. The views are over fields, so it's peaceful.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's high spec, properly finished. It's open plan inside, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all in one big space. There's a woodburning stove, underfloor heating, and all the utilities are included. You've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels come with it. There's a cot and highchair too.
It's in the grounds of the main house, so we're nearby if you need anything. But you've got complete privacy. There's parking right there.
The coast is two miles away. Cromer's the main town there. It's got a sandy beach, the pier, cafés, shops, the usual seaside stuff. There's a golf course nearby too. For a day out, you can get to the Norfolk Broads in half an hour to hire a boat. Norwich is about forty minutes drive if you want museums or shopping. There are lots of National Trust places around, like Blickling Hall.
There's a shop, a pub and a restaurant about half a mile from the cottage. No pets are allowed, sorry.
