Villa 55

Villa 55 is in Cromer, Norfolk. It's a semi-detached villa on a private resort right on the cliff top, next to the golf course. The location is the main thing. You look straight out over the sea.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not especially fancy inside, but it's well-kept and clean.

The best part is the large south-facing balcony. It has artificial grass and panoramic views. You'll spend a lot of time out there. The resort is built into the hillside, which means there are steps and slopes everywhere. It might not suit anyone with mobility problems.

On site, you get use of an indoor heated pool, a sauna, and a hot tub. There's a snooker room, a badminton court, and a fitness room too. All included. There's a bar and restaurant on site that does food all year.

Getting to the beach is straightforward. There are pathways along the cliffs and stepped paths down. You can walk along the cliff to Overstrand village, past the golf course. Cromer itself is about a mile away. It's a proper traditional seaside town with a pier, a sandy beach, and the famous lifeboat station.

For days out, Sheringham is five miles up the coast. The RSPB reserves at Cley and Blakeney are about a 30 minute drive. You can see seals at Horsey Gap. The National Trust properties Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are within half an hour. For children, there's Amazona Zoo in Cromer and the Dinosaur Adventure Park near Lenwade.

Facilities in the villa: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking on site. No pets, sorry.
