The Cart Shed is a converted barn on Crossdale Street. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps six across three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one has a walk-in shower. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished, comfortable, and everything is included. It's warm, but quietly so, because it's heated by a ground source heat pump.
The main room is open plan. There's a wood burner for colder nights. Big sliding doors open right up to the garden, which has a patio and a BBQ.
There are a couple of things to note plainly. The doorway is wheelchair accessible, but the garden has a step down from the patio. The shower is a walk-in type. The stairs are a typical barn conversion style, so they turn a corner and are a bit steeper than in a modern house.
It's about two miles from the coast. Cromer's the nearest proper beach town. It's got the pier, a wide beach, and places to eat. For a different scene, head west to Blakeney or Wells-next-the-Sea to watch the boats.
If you want to get out, you're in a good spot. Sheringham Park is nearby for walks. The RSPB reserve at Cley Marshes is a short drive for birdwatchers. The National Trust's Blickling Estate and Holkham Hall are both within half an hour. Norwich city centre, with the castle and cathedral, is about 40 minutes drive.
For facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
