Deer Park Lookout is near the village of Suffield, in Norfolk. It's a conversion, done a while back. It's spacious inside. The main thing is the view. You look out over a deer park. The deer are there most days, red and fallow. It's very quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not a show home. The owners live in the farmhouse nearby, which is from the 1700s.
You can walk around the park on footpaths. There's a 14-acre lake on the estate if you're into fishing or birdwatching. The Gunton Arms pub is about a 15-minute walk. They do food. For groceries, Roughton village has a shop, about two miles away.
The north Norfolk coast is about six miles. Cromer is in that direction, with its pier and beach. For a big day out, the Norfolk Broads are easy to get to. Historic houses like Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are nearby.
Facilities: there's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings, a patio area, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right outside. You can bring one dog.
