Wallages Cottage

Wallages Cottage is one of the cottages at White House Farm, near the village of Knapton in Norfolk. It's on the owner's land, so you'll see us about, but your patio and garden are private and enclosed.

The cottage sleeps four in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. We accept up to two dogs.

The garden is fenced. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. You've got the basics: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We've also got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. The entrance and main rooms are wheelchair accessible.

There's a shop and a pub about a mile away in Trunch. The pub serves food.

The beach is the main thing for most people. Mundesley is about two miles away. It's a quiet, sandy beach. You can walk there in about 45 minutes if you don't mind a country lane. Cromer is a busier seaside town, about a 15-minute drive. It's got a pier, lifeboat station, and the usual shops and cafes.

If you want to walk the dog straight from the door, the Paston Way footpath is five minutes away. For a bigger walk, Bacton Woods is 15 minutes by car.

North Walsham is four miles away for supermarkets and a train station. Norwich is about a 40-minute drive if you want a city day. The Norfolk Broads are close too, maybe 20-25 minutes to Wroxham for boat hire.
